My Favorite Month for Disney & How to Love it Too

Disney tips are something you are definitely going to need if you’re going or even thinking of going. I’ve been to Disney more times than I can count, I even used to work there (no, I was not a princess). I feel pretty confident that I know what I’m doing when I go. However, things have changed things up on me a lot in the last three years and since we’ve been living in Australia, its been a while since being there. I’ve come to rely on my sister to do a lot of the planning as she’s been several times while we’ve been living abroad. Regardless, I still feel pretty confident in recommending certain times of the year to go.

Darwin, Kakadu, Litchfield, & Nitmulik: A 6 Day Itinerary & 5 Mistakes to Avoid

Darwin & Surrounds: What Not to Do Darwin, Kakadu, and Nitmulik were on our six-week trip around Australia as part of our outback section.  If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you can read about our whole trip here. We spent the first part near Adelaide, then Margaret River, went up to Exmouth, then made our way to Darwin via Broome and the Kimberleys. It was fantastic and I’ve loved sharing all the great parts and the not-so-great parts. When I travel, I tend to over plan, it’s just who I am. Please don’t tell me not to over plan, that just doesn’t work for me.  In fact, whenever I don’t books something ahead of time or don’t do the

Part one was spent in Adelaide and Surrounds, part two in Perth and Surrounds, and then Exmouth, Karijini, and Broome. Now we are up to Broome to Darwin. There is so much to share in this part that I’m breaking it up. I’ll cover the Kimberley region in the post, and my next post I’ll share all about Darwin, Litchfield, Kakadu, and Nitmuluk. This is the part of the trip I was most excited about.  There is so much rugged outback with waterfalls, canyons, and all kinds of walking trails.

Broome, Australia & 5 Reasons You Have to Fly Over the Horizontal Waterfalls

Broome, Australia We recently finished 6 weeks around Australia and let me tell you, I loved it. If you’ve followed our trip, you know we went to some very remote places. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you can read the overview of our trip here. One of the areas we did was to drive from Exmouth via Karijini to Broome, Australia.  If you missed our post on Exmouth and Karijini, check it out now. Broome was so hyped up to us by Aussies and other travelers that we had huge expectations.  When we first arrived, it was pretty lackluster.  It’s a tiny beach town, it’s hot, and it’s not pedestrian friendly.  However, the longer I stayed, the more I

Part one was spent in Adelaide and Surrounds, then Perth and Surrounds and now we are up north to Exmouth, Karijini, and Broome. We’ve been to Exmouth before but have not been to Karijini and we had heard it was supposed to be one of the most amazing places in Australia.  We also hadn’t gone to Broome yet, which is also an Aussie favorite.  Enjoy these photos of our time there. Exmouth, Australia Originally, we had thought about snorkeling with the whale sharks again, but didn’t end
